TT Question
« on: May 14, 2014, 04:31:00 PM »
so I have converted one of my e7's to TT already and have run into the small issues like the spacers being too tight, and the transmission holes needed to be opened up a tad more. but this second one I am installing the TT doesn't look absolutely 100% straight. I affixed my TT bearings to the TT like I usually do, installed the TT in the boom, and when I spin the tail output shaft with my fingers, the TT doesn't stay in the center. I can tell its not straight, but when looking at it with my eyes before installing it didn't obviously look bent. This is the TT that came with the TT conversion. it is not so bent that it touches the inside of the boom, it just goes in a little circle in the center, not staying still. do you guys think this is too bad to try to fly? should I replace the TT with a new one? what are your thoughts?

Nah it will be fine. If it isnt noticeably bent to the eye. The tt bearings and the ends plugged into the gears will be fine.

perfect! thank you Chris. I thought that it would be fine man, but I figured I needed to ask. I have never had a bent one before, so I didn't know how it would act.
