Title: Synergy 766 Tail Kick
Post by: Grubscrew on February 17, 2017, 02:46:34 AM
Hi all,

Looking for some help with my 766 tail. I absolutely love flying this machine but the tail is letting me down atm. I am finding the tail will kick 30 deg to the right (ie: counterclockwise or with the torque) whenever I do a hard, sudden full pitch climbout. Windy conditions and poor collective management also seem to bring the tail undone at times.

My setup is as follows:
766mm Setup
Xnova XTS 4530-480kv
Kosmik 200A Gov
Vbar Silverline 6.0 (VControl)
14S 5000mah
Futaba BLS276SV Tail
116mm Rail Tails
Running 1950RPM

I posted this on Helifreak after someone with a very similar setup had the same problem. I have since installed the speed up tail gear and noticed a marked improvement, but the problem is still present. I have tried adjusting everything in the expert Vbar tail controls to no avail.

Any suggestions?

I did not on the tail no, as I found it moved very freely from scratch.
