Looks good Bill!  I should be maidening mine tomorrow, almost identical setup.  Did you shorten the E6 boom at all?  Mine is cut down 60mm.

Didn't consider cutting the boom down, what made you decide to do that?

The E6 boom has always been longer than needed for 606mm blades.  Cutting it down makes the machine look better proportioned.  Matt came up with the 60mm number and is also running his cut down.

In that case I would make up another boom cut down 40mm.  :)

I slid a wooden dowl in the boom and used a pipe gutter to cut the boom. Clean cut! if you do this just dont tighten the cutter to tight to soon. cut it slowly. ;)

I'm leaving mine stock 600 length for now, but if I ding it, I might go for the cut. :)

Which pinion did you use? I thought the recommended 1100kV (for 6S) motor had a 5mm shaft, but the 560kV you speak of has a 6mm. Does the kit come with both 5 and 6mm pinions?

Hello Ryan,

HK-4025-1100 KV exist with 5 and 6mm.HKIII-4025-1100 is only 6mm shaft. Both are ok for 6S setup with 6mm. In Matt's videos flying 6S, he did them with HK-4025-1100 with TP 4400 and 5000 6S. The 10S flight is with 4035-630KV if I remember.

Pinions are also 6mm, 12 an 14 Tooths delivered in the kit.
