Title: E7 SE Video in the UK today!
Post by: Tom Owen on August 24, 2014, 03:50:33 PM
Hi guys,

Well i've been having a lot of troubles with my Synergy E7SE lately, i've resolved the cyclic agility issue and now i have a bad problem where on a side on tic toc with the nose to the right it is perfect. When i turn the tail around and do side on nose to the left it wobbles out and all sorts, i've changed from Vbar to Spartan and still having issues =[ Also on tail down heli shakes but i've tried changing cyclic gain but it doesn't fix...

Starting to give up and just fly through it at the moment until i have the passion to try and fix it again but anyway here is a video from today :)

nice flying !
I would play with your governor gain and see if that made a difference. it might be set to high. looks like it flys great. in the video.

Wow man, great flight!

As for your issues. Sounds like a gain issue. If you are having to move your gains around a bunch and not making any progress than I would check first the mechanical setup, are all the balls silky smooth? Tail silky smooth? If all of that checks out, check your servo resolution.  Could be you have too much mechanical gain and your servos aren't able to make fine enough changes at higher gain values.

Just a couple of things off the top of my head.

Thanks for the kind comments :)

It looks Ok in the video just doesn't feel great, it would be a whole lot better flying if the feeling was there right  ;D

Chris - thanks for the detailed response and advice, mechanical seems fine i have a feeling it's something flybarless system related. Going to go and have a fly with one of the Spartan guys and see if he has any ideas :)
