Hello my name is John or Jean-Luc for Trekkies (remember Jean-Luc Picard ?)
I`m from Montreal, Can, and fly at our local heli only club: Club CRASH which I co-founded 32 yrs ago with Eugene Belanger. I also fly on weekends at cottage in Vermont, which is about an hour away.
I`m 56 yrs old and been flying rc helis since 1972, starting with a Dubro Shark. I have seen the maturing of our hobby and things are golden right now, I can tell you that.
Back then, we use to fly for 1 hour, then maintain equipment for 5 hours ! No more, as I put in 700 flights between 2 Logo 600SE in last yr, and barely did 2 hours of maintenance ! That`s reliability and true progress.
But, I`ve been looking for a true E-700 class heli to replace my Logos, and surveying all of the new E-700 class helis at IRCHA 2011, I must say the E7 was the best out there imho. And Matt is the nicest guy you can meet.
So, jumping in the Synergy user group, I`ve ordered 2x E7. One for a E6 config. ans one E7 size.
My flying style is smooth 3D, mixed with big air stuff. I feel I can help out with my long nitro experience for N5 owners and more recently on big electrics.
Can`t wait to get mine received and built.
