Did you locate a pyro 600 with a 5mm shaft?
Cheers

What kv is that motor? 1200? A 19t would achieve those rpm's. A more typical kv for the 516 would be 1300+ like the scorpion 1350 for example. This would hit the sweet spot with just an 18t pinion. Your motor may be better suited in a stretch (556) configuration.

I am running the pyro 600-12 but mine is stretch. Running the 18t pinion. Perfect combination.

sorry for the late replies guys. yes 1200kv. I'm not a 3d guy so no need for a 1350 motor. I actually would like to slow it down even more to like 2400-2250-2100. I modified my 600-12 to use the Xnova 4020 shaft, wasn't easy and forgot about the KDE shaft, DOH! what head speeds are you running with the stretch kit?

For the head speed you are looking for the 19t pinion is fine. At 80% you would be around 2450.

Using the 18t pinion on my stretch I run 2100-2200. 2200 is quite nice on the stretch. Would not want any more than that.

It sounds like the stretch would suit you mucj better for what you are looking for. The 516 at 2500 is a real monster in my opinion. The stretch at 2200 like Alan said is freaking awesome. Fyi my stretch has the speed up tail pulley and stock size tail blades. With your motor and 18t pinion it would be a great combo for what you are looking for.
