Battery Tray Hole for Balance
« on: December 23, 2019, 07:38:34 AM »
Which tray hole have you found to work best for balance?

I have two batt types with significant difference in weight
RoaringTop 4500 45C = 661g
Scorpion 4500 75C = 770g

Also, anyone using a RX batt and if yes, where and how did you mount?

Thanks for sharing!

Yes.  I'm using a Pulse Ultra 2550 2 cell, and have it mounted on the top side of the battery tray.  It's tight, but it does fit.  I think I'm using the middle hole for the tray lock.

GM, I was thinking to use the same batt, and have one ready to use.  Will you please tell me more about how you mounted the batt on top of the tray?  The main batt strap covers that area.

I am considering somewhere on the side frame or even under the main batt.
