I registered on this forum months ago, but only lurked in the shadows reading. I just registered a new account under a new name "Gasser Mike". This nick name stuck, so I may as well go with it. (Thanks Bill!)
So I started flying around 6 years ago. I flew scale type flight for the first year and a half (in between dirt naps..). I took a 3 year break due to some family and personal issues, and now I am back. I am a sport flyer that is learning 3D now. My ultimate goal is to be a 3D pilot. I ran into a few Synergy guys at my local field (Bessemer, AL). (which by the way, I hope it made it through the tornadoes Monday!). I had been flying Align and MA helis, and was introduced to the Synergy brand by Bill at the local field. I have since built an E7, and an E6, and I am hooked on Synergy now.
As my name states "Gasser Mike" I am vey passionate about my gassers. I currently have 2 that I am flying, one is a HWC conversion, and one is a HelixHeli conversion. If/when Synergy releases one, I will be the first in line to snatch one up! I got into gassers to take advantage of their long, long, very long flight times. It helped me to get a straight 30min of practice when learning new things. I have since taking it on as a personal challenge to build a gasser that will perform 3D flight equal to a .90 size nitro. I may have come very close with my latest build, but I hope to get there and beyond with something with the Synergy name on it one day.
Anyway, I just thought I would stick my head in here and say hello, and thank you to everyone who has made my Synergy experience so great already!
