Title: My new Synergy E5
Post by: Helikid42 on September 19, 2017, 04:51:16 PM
Just opened my Synergy E5 today to check over things. Was not to pleased to see a few marks/scratches and even jagged edges on the head block and one blade grip. I'm almost certain that it was caused by shipping and handling by the retailer. Other than that, I am so excited to start building it and see what other tips and tricks other E5 pilots might have.

Well, that's a bummer.  Have you brought it up with the retailer you bought it from?  Snap some pictures and see what they say.  If you run into a roadblock there, let us know.

Consider purchasing two T-handle 4mm hex drivers (https://www.amazon.com/Klein-Tools-JTH6M4-Journeyman-T-Handle/dp/B005G394YO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1505869996&sr=8-2&keywords=t+handle+4mm) and a 8mm Grippy (https://www.onlyfinehelis.com/Chimp-Systems-Grippy-Single-for-8mm-Shafts-Blue_p_3340.html) to loosen the main blade grips off the spindle shaft without hurting your hands.

The Grippy is a great investment for sure.
