2S LiPo High Voltage Power Setups

Hi all,

I was wondering what power setups people are using for 2S LiPo and high voltage servos?

I know some are using a BEC with a switch. Others use a Rx battery with a plug as the switch with multiple leads soldered on the connector. Also I know some use a reg to drop down to 7.4V and have a power supply for each cyclic servo.

Please share your setups.

Thanks

I run 2S Lipo EC3 connected w/2 leads to FBL

Edit: Run the Futaba BLS255/256HV Servo's and FBL is a SilverLine VBar. 2 leads are directly plugged into VBar

I run a couple of different setups. What I am going to do on my forthcoming E5 will be:

Savox HV SC-1267sg cyclics
Savox HV SB-2272sg rudder

Powered by a 1800mAh 2s Hyperion RX pack plugged directly into the VBAr with two leads. Using one of these harnesses only shorter. I haven't made the one for the E5 yet. Will do that when I build the Kit.

I'm using Torq servos all around, plugged into a Skookum SK-PB1 Power Bus (http://www.skookumrobotics.com/shop/product_info.php/products_id/32), thereby minimizing the number of servo plugs the current has to go through.

Hi guys,

Thanks for posting up your setups. I will be building an E7 in the near future and I am trying to work out my options.

It will be the following;
Thunder Power 2S LiPo 1900mAh
CC Ice 2 160HV
CGY750
R6208 SBUS
BLS156HV cyclic
BLS256HV tail

With the CGY750 there will be no spare ports for power and I don't want to plug in the Rx and rely on the SBUS wire for power. I was thinking of a Gryphon Extreme reg for my installation.

Otherwise I would have to make up a power lead with 3 separate wire leads going into the cyclic servos.

Cheers
