I can't seem to be able to see videos posted using my iPad?  Picture are fine.  Am I missing something?

I never noticed this before I just checked and they don't show up on my pad through safari but they do in tapatalk app.

Looks like only the link to the video appears.
You can click on the link which will open the video in Youtube.
Interesting that the video image does not appear on the Ipad.

I'll keep researching this issue.
