I'm building an e5ss and my question is do I use the tail parts from the e7( boom torque tube tail rod and boom supports) . It makes sense I just want to be sure before I buy the parts.

Yep! E7 boom/tt/tail push rod. Now the E7 push rod is actually slightly too short but if you are careful when you epoxy on the ends, you can make up the difference, it isn't much. Or you can get stock CF rod from the LHS and cut to length.
