Impressively smooth machine in the air.  Still have some in-flight tuning of the HC3SX to do.

Am I correct in assuming that this heli is usually flown with the gears dry?  I have never lubricated the gearing on my other electric and nitro helis.

I wonder if anyone has gone through a replacement of the rotor spindle.  I believe red locktight was used in putting it together.  I have always used blue for the rotor head.  The only place I've ever used red is on the start shaft of my Kasama Srimok 90N.

Thoughts appreciated.

I run mine with a light coat of Boto lube. Very quiet and doesn't seem to build up the black Delrin dust around the pinion area.
