Title: N5c CGY750 Setup File
Post by: Tommy Wagner on November 17, 2011, 08:56:55 PM
Was there much of a change in the setup between the N5 and N5c?

I just put a few more flights on my N5c with the total g and there are just a few changes in the response match. From the N5 to the N5c there is a little. Bounce in it I forgot my laptop so I could not adjust it. I'm thinking it is from the C being lighter.

Guys you need the Futaba CIU-2 interface to do the update. All the files are on the Futaba site. Go to this link http://www.futaba-rc.com/software-updates.html (http://www.futaba-rc.com/software-updates.html) and get the CGY750 Link Data tool and CIU-2 interface software.

Cheers

I think that they are looking for a program to look at the file to compare the settings

Sorry guys I misunderstood :-[. I manually went through all my GY701 settings and made a table in MS Excel for the various menus. I am not sure what program can open it. Maybe it can be saved as a .dat or .bat or .txt file and it can be opened somehow?

Its ok scotty i try his setting today and it fly really good just had to change a couple of thing but it would be nice to have a software that you can compare your setting versus some else on your computer when your at home

Has anyone found a program that lets you view the settings in Matt's config files?  I would like to review the settings before uploading them.

I was going to load it in the CGY750 and manually pull all the numbers and settings out from each menu. It appears there is no other way at the moment.

Sorry guys I don't think there is a way to view the data.
Also, if you use these files, make sure you clear all of the neutral settings as well as the pitch-aileron and pitch-elevator mixing. You will need to re level your swash as the neutral settings are specific to each helicopter.

Thanks,

Matt

Matt

I down loaded you N5C file and here is what you have. If thfuntion is not listed it is set to the defalt that is listed in the manual. Matts N5C file has expo in the 750 (Stock percentage). Some people like me set the EXPO to 0% and add expo in on the radio.

Rudder
Basic:
Servo DG:750
SV Limit A 135%  B 115%
Ft Mode 3D

EXPERT

Dly Mode = Constant

ALE
Basic Menu = No Changes

Expert
Dly Mode = Constant

ELE

Basic = No changes

Expert
Dly mode = Constant

Swash

Basic
ServoTyp = DG:285Hz

Servo Dir = Combo#7
(you will need to find the right one for you)

Anthony, I will be glad to share mine once I receive my CGY's back from Futaba for Service.. They are updating them as well, I haven't updated the ones in my current models yet. But I am flying N7 and 766/806 "not yet finished"
