Title: swash question
Post by: anthony on February 03, 2018, 06:13:05 AM
the tribunus on my 516 died with about 3 feet of altitude on take off . damaged the usual suspect which have been changed and i just got the replacement tribunus from innov8tive designs a couple of days ago, its all back together and i was going through my setup to check that all was well. it wasn't , at zero pitch setup when i turn the head the pitch changes all the way round, when i looked at the swash one of the legs has a small bend in it .
is it possible to buy just the bottom part of the swash as the rest of it is ok , or do i have to buy a whole new one

I checked with Matt and yes that part will be available separately. He’s going to ask the factory to send him some. This time of year can take a bit.

Could always buy a complete swash and have spares if you didn’t want to wait.

as it wasn't too badly bent i did take it apart and managed to get it reasonably straight. i want to change it just to be sure but i can wait a little while , will it be on the website or as a special order part

It will be on the site. I’ll try to post when it’s in stock. I’m sure Matt will add the part numbers to the manual when he gets them.

just test flew it and it was perfect , so i think i will probably buy a complete unit as a backup like you suggested instead of changing the bottom part unless you think i need to
