No problem. Glad it worked. Once you get used to your Heli and if you decide you want more HS, there's a couple little tricks into getting a little more. Like others had mentioned, 2200-2300 will fly great and do most anything you ask. Good luck on the maiden.

What are the tricks?  I think it should be a little higher, I think it will help with the small wag I have.  Maybe raise it to 2300.

Wag is caused by by not having the gain set properly either on the transmitter, gov gain in CC software, pots on flybarless controller, or vibrations which I would find hard to believe on this kit. I'm jealous you have already flown the Heli, congrats! The first couple of flights are always about tweaking to get rid of those wags. Once you get it your good though. Not sure on the V bar settings hopefully someone can jump in and tell you what to look for. As a general rule of thumb if you are getting wag some gain needs to be turned down.

Here are the settings I put in  the CC software for the 120HV2. I put in head speed of 2100,2200,2300 and this is what I came up with. I plan on using the 14 tooth pinion at first to see how that is unless everyone thinks I should use the 12. I fly mild 3d but have plans to really work on my smack with this machine. Thoughts suggestions or comments with this speed controller? What works what doesn't for you.

Well a slow "hunt" and a fast wag often have different causes. Yes gain can cause both and normally addresses both. But you need to make sure the tail control system is setup as well as possible. You want the control rod and linkage to be free of binding. This usually means sizing the control rod links and the links on the tail blade grips. You should also lubricator the tail shaft. This makes the brass collar in the pitch slider move easier.

Check to be sure the tail control is smooth them play with gains.

Yes vibrations can wreck a gyro but in my experience the swash plate shows vibrations more than tail but i could be just that unlucky.

Well said thanks Chris. Can someone please tell me a good number to start with on the Gov gain in CC software. I don't have a lap top to take to the field and be able to adjust. What is working for folks? Please tell.

On a TT heli, I set the Gain to LOW. Higher than that and you risk the TTs stripping. Now on the E5 the TT are MONSTER so you can probably go up some, but for a start, I would set to low and fly it. If the head speed is holding good, leave it. If you need a bit more go into custom and go up 1 or 2 numbers at a time.

I think I have my gain in CC too high.  I left it as it was but I also got a messsage from wbfines and will adjust to that. Also, I 'm sure my headspeeds were too low.  Won't get to see if anything worked for awhile though.

I know I read...sorry about that, I hate it when stuff like that happens. Live and learn. Regarding a low Gov setting in CC what would I look for to see if the head speed is holding? A bogging sound, log data. I'm going to use the 14 tooth as that seems to give me a sweet head speed between 2100-2350 in CC software

I tried changing the battery voltage to 3.9 but it wouldn't do anything.  How would I change it from 3.7 to 3.9?
