part number needed for main shaft and clutch
« on: March 02, 2014, 02:59:48 PM »
Hi All,
I need the part number for my n5c main shaft Belt drive version. The store only shows the TT version or is it the same?
I'm also looking for a clutch. The manual lists it as #610-160, but it does not show in the search function.
Thanks Again!

Hi John,

If you have an original belt driven N5c then you will need the 610-140 mainshaft which has the stepdown for the lower bearing block.

If you have the N5c torque tube version then you will need the 610-410 mainshaft?

The clutch is the same on the original N5 and both the N5C Belt/TT versions, the part number for the clutch is: 200-405.

Hope this helps, if I can be of any further help just give me a shout. :)
Cheers,
Ross

Thanks Ross,
it is the belt driven tail n5c.
There seems to be a discrepancy in the manual versus the actual part number for the clutch, but the part number you provided worked for Matt's store so I'll go with it.
thanks again!

Hi John,

Your very welcome, glad i could help!  :)

The original part numer of 610-160 was for the bare clutch without the one-way bearing, this part was discontinued and replaced with the 200-405 clutch as this has the one-way bearing pre-installed.

Cheers,
