2013 sucks so far

I started off the year in bed, sick, for the first week of the new year.  Last weekend, our 5 year old bulldog started throwing up and quit eating.  Monday we found out that she had complete kidney failure and we had to have her put down.  I'm usually a fairly optimistic person but, so far, I'm not a big fan of 2013...

So sorry to hear that Rodney.  The loss of a pet is a sad event. We lost two in one year in 2011. Things will get better.

Thanks guys.  I don't usually post stuff like this but I've had a lot of dogs, from the time I was a kid, and I've never been attached to one the way I was to her.  She was a little clown and she would do something every single day that would make me laugh.

Man so sad this happened and the year is off to a rough start.  I have thought the same so far, but am thinking that all of the bad stuff is happening now so that the rest of the year will be great.
