109-110 Important shim!
« on: March 17, 2013, 07:23:23 PM »
Do you need this shim with the TT E7? The manual page 9 shows it on top of the belt pulley. Don't see it in the TT manual.
Didn't find one when I took it part after the crash.

I don't think so.. The collar under the middle bearing has a "boss" on it to take the place of that shim.

The shim is there as an option to take out up/down movement before the main shaft collar is tightened up.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
