Hi Guys, is anyone running the 716's instead of 696's.
I had a small mishap yesterday and i will be throwing the big ones on to try.
I would love to know how pilots are finding these?

I've just made the switch, so much more lift, reduced head speed by 200 rpm and suits my flying style, big air, great. I really love these blades. Kept the 106 tails and uped the tail gain a tad.

Yes they seem to pick up some headspeed at the bottom of an auto.

Had my first flight today with the new 716 Rails, all i can say is WOW.
The stability and lift was outstanding, so much more noticeable.
I ended up dropping the head to the top hole to try to change the roll rate.
Totally recommend these blades.

I would like to try them also however can't gear down lower than the 12t pinion with 520kv. So I would be stuck around 2050 for a head speed. May be to much?

Any thoughts on the lowered KDE head with the longer blades. Now rebuilding after my first crash. Haven't secured the boom yet. Don't you have to slide the tail box back a bit. With the lowered head and 106 tails will there be enough clearance?

Slide the tail box out only if you are using 116 tails which are not needed at 2050 head speed.

Hard to believe that 20mm makes that big of a difference.
