Joe Brzezinski AKA: Breezyjr

Brzezinski.... would you want to say it all the time....  (Brr-Zin-Ski, and that's the easy English)  Breezy happens to be a family nickname going all the way back to my grandfather at the Ford Rouge Oxygen plant, and with my father at the Rogue Power House... then with me... as Junior....  Only seemed fitting, since I was friends, with nearly all of my father's friends...

I don't know if anyone has been hit by the R/C bug harder than myself.  This all started just 2 years ago, when my, then 11 year old, nephew brought his new mCX to the Bday party, I was hooked INSTANTLY!  It helped there was a Hobby shop, literally 2 minutes from my house.  I bought so much that first year, I joke that the hobby shop was then able to move from their tiny shop, to the big shop with an indoor track...  hehe  But, I don't think it's far from the truth...

My first heli was the CX3, AND a Blade 400.   Crashed the 400 the first time I tried to fly.. hehe  I have since bought the following R/C "stuff"  (and, this is not to brag, just to show how addicted I really am)
Heli's:
mCX, CX3, Blade 400, T250 (my first build, what I mistake... tiny, tiny pieces, and hard to fly for a first heli)
T600NSP, Raptor 90SE, Gaui 200 (still not able to fly yet), furion 450 (what a "fun" build), Kasama Srimok 90n (was too afraid to fly it for the first year!), Trex450v2, Beam E4, t500ESP (the first heli I was actually able to fly, bought it used), t600ESP, Vibe 50, a bunch of micro heli's I crashed a lot, Logo 600SE, Logo 500SE (bought used), Synergy N5 (with Matt Botos signed canopy), Vibe 90 SG FBL, Vibe 90SG FB, E-Aurora, Srimok FaiFa, 700E F3C, Synergy E6/7, Slyphide 90 that once belonged to Scott Gray, with the Super Gracy Fuse,  T450 Pro FBL,  Another Gaui 200, and T250, TDR Rigid (a work of art, similar to the srimok's) mCPx...  Blade SR (x2, both crashed), Blade CP pro 2 (crashed)...And that's all I can think of at the moment...

Cars:
E-Revo, 8ight-E, 8ight T 2.0, D8, D8T, MBX6 M-Spec, MBX 6T M-spec, Ve8, Revo PE, Baja 5b, Baja 5T (with nearly EVERY upgrade), Lost night crawler, Losi Comp Crawler (not finished yet), MOA Berg Crawler (not finished), MOA Berg Super Crawler (not finished), Slash, Slash 4x4 Ultimate Edition, Slayer Pro... Most every single car has upgrades... D8 has ALL the factory hop ups....  I think that's all of them...

You'd think with all these toys, I'd actually be good at flying... well, NO... I'm still hovering.  I can go back and forth sideways, and moving my way to FF....  But, I want to PERFECT my hover in all orientations... So, I don't mind that I'm only able to go out in my front lawn and hover.....

Worse thing is.... I still want more heli's...  Now I'm getting to the point where I want the "cool" boutique heli's, like my TDR, or Srimok's, and especially the Sylphide 90......

I absolutely love to build heli's, but don't like fixing them up after a mishap, which is one of the reasons I have so many....  like the T600NSP...  I landed hard with it, and cracked the side frame... so, instead of taking the time to fix it, I bought a Vibe 50 instead, built it, and hoped I'd fly better with it...  FINALLY, at the end of last summer, I realized.... Mechanical setup is about 95% of flying.  I used to eyeball everything...  level a swash... B'ah It's level...  then go out and fight the heli the whole time...  It wasn't until I bought the T500 used, which was setup by an experienced builder, that I finally realized how important mechanical setup was.  When I first flew a heli that was setup correctly, I almost fell over at how easy it was to fly... (hover)  It wasn't darting this was, and that...  it basically sat there... maybe drifted a bit with the wind...

Of course, now my wife hates my hobby.  Even going so far as to state I can't buy parts anymore.  Even to fix up the heli's I want to sell...  But, I have my hiding spots... although that slyphide and fuse will be hard to hide.... it's HUGE!

So, that's my story.  I hope I don't sound like I"m bragging.. I"m really not... I'll be the first to say, I can't fly, except in a hover, I always WAAAAAAAY overbuild my heli's, with the thought that, if I brought it to a field, anyone could pick it up, and with a few radio adjustments, be stick bangin in no time.....

Enjoy the flying... I always do, when I can....
