Steve, which one? I'd like to try my 4030/2.5Y (560kv) on 10S with the E6 boom. That was my favorite 10s motor on a 600-sized heli...

I am thinking of the 4035/2.5y-480 on 12s. I emailed Xera and it looks like 75 continuous amps to 150+ max so it should be a noticeable step up in power from the Hacker 470 without the battery killing amp draw of  the super motors. It is available in a long shaft 6mm. Xera motors are reputed to run cool too. Did you find that to be the case with your 4030?

Anyway, I like my Hacker 470 fine. Just thinkin' out loud for the next build.

Hey guys,

I've only had a couple requests for a 25mm motor mount.
Problem is that the 25mm spacing is going away. It does not provide enough room for a large enough motor shaft bearing. If I get enough requests I will see what I can do to accommodate.

Thanks,

Matt
