Is anyone doing this if so what are you using and where are you putting the weight.

I did balance mine, but I did not have to add any weight. With the canopy on it comes out just about perfect.

Steve is correct. Don't add any weight.
Best thing you can do is to pick a battery that will allow the model to balance.
The battery can also be positioned fore and aft on the carbon plate for fine adjustments.
