My E7se wiring and mods
« on: September 11, 2013, 06:04:28 PM »
Hi Guys

she's all finished and ready to go :)

I thought i'd share some mods that i do to make the wiring neat and safe and also make life a bit easier

when loading the battery i found that the edges can be quite sharp , i have sanded them in the past but this works better , BTW thanks Synergy for the frame protector stripping  very nice product , shame i only found it yesterday at my hobbyshop  , i used RC boat edge trim this time ,which is a little thicker but will do the job.

I use a battery stop so i dont have to find CG every time i load up , i also use KS 3/16 x.014 x50mm long brass tubing where the tailrod slides through the gides , been doing this on a couple of my heli's with great results

Yes.  A very nice job indeed!  I never could come up with a good place for the large scorpion stickers.  Never thought of the frame!  The wiring job is great!  Very neat.
The Canopy is definitely sick...lol...

Cheers
Alan

Looks great!
Where do you get the Velcro wire wrap and braiding?

Found it!

Here is a backwards under mounted version. Seems to work fine might not give as much room for taller batteries. I like it as it's easy to remove the ESC with four screws.

Nice job! I see the Futaba GPS sensor, very cool, what information do you like the best, other than all of it because it is cool? Also I see you have a small gauge wire spliced into one of you motor leads, what is that for, more telemetry?

Now that's tidy with a lot of thought in the detail.
Nice canopy too.
Great job Fasster.
