Spur Gear not the same size

Hi

I'm stretching my E5. I've changed the 305-213 spur gear with the 320-112 spur gear. No I have axial tolerance.
I've noticed that the 305-213 and the 320-112 are not of the same thickness. Is the 320-112 the wrong part for the 4,5:1 ratio?

Nope thats the right part.  A little slop in the shaft and 12t spur is normal. The shaft is always under load so rotational pressure squares that up. If the shaft can move up and down then adjust out the shaft movement with the nylock nut on the end.

Hi

I have an other question. It's written for the  "4.5:1(optional)Slide Transmission all the way AFT"
I can not slide the transmission. How should I slide it? At the moment it is going very hard to turn the rotor head.

Make sure the boom is not to far forward preventing the transmission from moving back.

Clean the bolt holes out. If there is any lock tight in them the transmission can be hard to shift. But you should be able to shift the transmission back and forth a tiny amount to set gear mesh properly with either spur gear. On very rare occasions (rare with the e5, common with then older e6/7), you may have to use a jeweler's file and elongate the transmission holes a tiny bit to account for the movement needed. It only takes a few good swipes, so be careful and check often.
