Hi Curmudgeon,
The SE tail pitch slider (Part:200-411) will be assembled dry from the factory, it is a L/H thread so is opposite to the normal proceedure for tightening and loosening.
I clean the surfaces with a little cleaning solvent and then use a very small amount of red loctite, make sure not to use too much and get it in the bearings. What i usually do is apply a small amount to the start of the threaded section and work it around with my finger and wipe off any excess. The threads are quite fine and only a small amount of loctite is needed. I then thread on the pitch fork plate and tighten it down, making sure not to overtighten and stress the bearings.
Hope this helps,
Cheers,
Ross
