E7 and Speed Canopy

Hi

With the E7 kit - can I use the speed canopy along with the standard landing gear, or will the standard landing skids not fit properly?

going off my memory here, but i think they will fit. someone correct me if i am wrong please....

see, i went the other way. i run my E7 with the speed gear and a regular canopy. i like the way the speed gear look.

Hi John,

Mike is correct, the speed canopy can be used with either the 'carbon flippers' or the standard undercarriage strut setup.  The flippers are great for an ultra low drag sleek setup.

if you do decide to run the speed gear on the heli, be careful of one thing.....when the ground is moist after a rain or a dew, they can sink. i usually put my truck floor mat out to take off of and land on. it is also great precision auto practice!
