Servo Horn Ball spacing
« on: August 17, 2015, 06:56:11 PM »
So the Horns I have that came with the OMG servo spacing from servo center to ball center are either 10.9mm or 13.6. Manual states 13.5 for optimal performance, but 10mm if using a flybarless configuration. 10 looks kind close together. This is my first Synergy and also first Nitro. Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Terry

Terry,
It really depends on your flying style. If you want the speed and roll rates for all out 3d use 13.5. Big air and more precision benefits greatly from the resolution that you gain by using 10.  Using 10.9 or 13.6 and not re drilling the arms is acceptable.
