E5s tt bearing placement?
« on: August 12, 2015, 04:01:26 PM »
Is the bearing placement still at 7.5" from the end of the tt like the standard e5 tt?  It is not stated in the manual for a stretch tail.  705mm tt.

Thanks

Bearing placement doesn't have to be exact. Space them to create three almost equal sections and you will be good.

You actually don't want them equally spaced.  Otherwise you are more prone to vibration due the tube vibrating at a harmonic. Maybe that's what you meant by almost. Being off of the equi-distant points by at least a half an inch should be sufficient.
