...already some parts preassembled ?
« on: December 27, 2015, 01:56:24 PM »
Hello volks,
I'm just building my first Snyergy - nice heli !!...
With some system components I'm a little bit confused due to these came more or less quite
preassembled - means:

the rotor head
the tail
even gear and tail slider...

The manual accurate describes how to hook up these parts...but anyhow - is it really necessary to
disassemble e.g. the tail gear box or even the tail grips ?

For me it seems quite confusing - anyhow - if the parts are already assembled in the box... was loctite involved.

There is no loctite or grease. The parts are pre assembled for parts count. It would be in your best interest to disassemble loctite and reassemble.

+1 to Jason.
Everything is just loosely assembled and still has machine oil on it. It all needs to be disassembled, threads cleaned with solvent to remove machining oils and reassembled with loctite. Cleaning threads with acetone/alcohol is something that should be done on every kit no matter what manufacturer to ensure a good cure from the thread locker.

It is ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT to thread lock the set screw that retains the pin that keeps the spur gears from rotating on their shafts in the front transmission and tail box.  See page two and page 39 of the manual for thes important notes.
