N5c main shaft bearing
« on: May 05, 2016, 02:49:41 PM »
So the bearing is a 10x19x6.  Mine is a little notchy.  I don't have a spare but have a few 10x19x5.  I don't see the big deal in a mm to limp by until I order my next order.

I looked and the Gobby 570, Logo 600sx and trex 600 all use a 10x19x5 top main bearing.

I expect it to last less, but I don't see a hurt in it.  Any input?

the balls in the 6mm are larger. the n5c only having 2 main bearing blocks instead of 3, it needs the stronger/larger bearings.

it can also cause miss alignment issues with the large and small spur gears (1mm to be exact :) )

I agree with Mike, You only need to replace the correct size bearing for the N5c. Nitro tends to Vibrate , with that you will have a lot of bearing movement if not the correct one.
