One happy E5s owner
« on: August 21, 2016, 08:33:23 AM »
Did a rebuild on the tail after the front mushroom gear decided to go south.  Looks like one tooth broke and causes the issues with my tail.  My tail blades need replacing as there is a notch at the root.  New ones on the way.

Scorpion 3635 510kv
120 edge hv esc
12s 3300mah
4.5 min flights at 1900hs
620 mains
A gyro that is finally working on it (still want a brain 2)

And a smile that just don't fade seeing it in the air the way I want it to fly.

Back to flying.  Love being able to fly right out of my back yard.  Garage with some music and power to charge in, wife away for the day with my dog.

Did I mention a smile from ear to ear yet?
Lol

Several flights in on it.  Definetly need some more 12s packs.  Going to try some lower hs to drop the esc output down to 75-85% output from 92-98% at the 1900hs.  I may have to just change the pinion or drop in the 560kv motor.

Seriously thinking about a nitro lately just for the convenience of gas and go.  Of course it has to be the n5c :).  Already have been dropping hints to my wife for christmass or a birthday gift.

Don't feel bad.   My 500 decided to take out its dfc links after 18hrs of flight time.  It didn't help that i was having some fun cutting hay with it.  Its making me think though.  Sell off the air frame and get an n5c or repair the 500.  Honestly i love the synergy models and would have an e5s, n5c, and an n7 or e7se if could afford them all.  I do well keeping what i have flying as i tend to get stupid thumbs now and then.

If i go as long as i have on my 500pro without replacing parts i will really love it.  230 or so flights for the 500 and 45 now on my e5s.  Need more flight packs for it lol.
