which xnova?
« on: December 20, 2017, 09:25:56 AM »
Im looking to finally add a 766 to my small fleet. I had decided on the xnova xts 4530-525 motor, but i see the slightly larger 4535-520 is also suitable for 12s 700-800 machines. so which one do you think would be best for hard sport/mild 3d?

my set up will be 766 blades, 12s 45-90c gens ace, 160 castle esc.

thanks!

The 4530 will do the job. If you flew hard 3D then the 4535 might be worth the extra $$.
I had used the 4530 on mine. That one was sold but about to acquire another one and I will again use the 4530.
Cheers

I run the Xnova 4530-500 in mine with a Castle 160A HV.  Based on what kind of flying you're saying you want to do, it's plenty of motor.
