That is impressive at 8.4 lbs.  My E5SS came in right at 10.0 lbs with 12s 5000mAh batteries.

I'm curious Chris,.. your 6s setup is very interesting. what's your average flight time and at which headspeed?   Less battery reduces time , but less weight increases time ,.. so I'm wondering how close it is to being a wash.     I fly  another one thats only stretched to 600's with a single 6s pack (and 5S sometimes), but at different rpms, and I can only get 7~9 minutes.

I only have about 8 flights on it and I’ve been bouncing between 1400-1800 and getting 5min of Flight. I’m sure if I stick at 1400 or even lower I can stretch it out. I’m happy though with a 6s 700 Flying 5min!

I guess the short flights make sense due to the high headspeeds. Strange, back in my glow days (80's/90's) I was the one running  the high headspeeds (2K on a couple machines, back when 1750 was considered "high"), now that I'm an old fart I'm at the opposite end of the spectrum :)

Chris, Just found you youtube video and that is one smooth heli.  I would like to go down the same path and update my E5 to a super stretch but the Scorpion HK4025-890KV motor appears to be no longer available.  Is there a suitable substitute?
