Main Gear Lube?
« on: May 21, 2020, 01:11:41 PM »
I have 22 flights so far, I set up with little to no lash at the tightest spot. Running Nick Maxwell Scorpion. Tried stock, then down one tooth. Mostly 1750 rpms.
Since the pinions are aluminum I'm guessing dry lube would be a good idea here?
Is anyone using some sort of grease on any gear sets? Tails included? Dry fluid extreme maybe?

Thanks
Steve Smith

It looks like I'm on the team DFE as well. Good stuff.
I found it to make the little gear noise I was hearing go away.
