Synergy E6/7 Torque Tube Conversion
« on: May 04, 2012, 05:39:53 AM »
I completed my torque tube upgrade last night. I decided to post a video about the conversion encase others were curious how it goes in or maybe just wanted to see the parts up close.

Chris,

A+ on the review! You hit every point that I tried to emphasize in the manual perfectly in the video. Thanks a bunch for your efforts!

Thanks,

Good video, Had a buddy watch it today. We spent the afternoon installing a TT kit
in his E7. We breezed right through it.

Thanks for the kind words.  I am glad the video has been helpful to some.

I love my Synergy heli. I get asked often to compare it to my other big helis, this is a top notch bird Matt and the TT kit is just as well executed.

Anyone having a CG issue with the TT?  I had to switch out the BEC pro with a liFe battery up front and slide the 12s 5000 lipos way up front to get the e7 to balance. Had trouble getting the canopy on and had to slide the battery back a bit. Now just very slightly tail heavy. Using Sky Lipos packs.

Yes I did notice I had to slide forward my TP 5000's about 0.5 inch forward to cg. Too much forward and the canopy won't mount. Depnds how heavy your esc-motor combo is.
