Hi guys,
Just had an unexpected radio problem?. Unfortunately the glitch resulted in me crashing my beloved Synergy N5C FBL. The crash wasn't that bad. In all fairness the heli with the same receiver(R6203SB) and CGY750 has been through a previous crash but have flown several flights with no problems. The previous crash was a low altitude dumb thumb move. I didn't send in the receiver for a checkup after that crash. My bad. I also have installed in the N5C a CGY 750 controller. On this last crash I was flying my typical FAI style making a smooth left hand turn then out of the blue the heli banks hard right. I managed to get it back for a second and lost control for a second time. The receiver and the 750 has been through two crashes. Just for point of reference the receiver antennas are oriented 90 degrees to each other as per Futaba.I'm also running a LiFE 6.6 v 2100 mah battery through a Gryphon Extreme regulator. Yes I checked the battery voltage after the crash and it was at 6.6 volts. I did a post flight range check and got my previous 100 paces= 300ft. More than adequate range. What to do? Replace the receiver and fly the 750 again? Or send it all in for a checkup? Have you guys had any similar glitches? I thought Futaba with its freq. hopping technology was immune to glitches? Or is the problem with the 750? Thanks in advance for the help.
