Questions.
« on: September 06, 2012, 11:13:06 AM »
Hi, as much as I would like to buy an E5, I have asked some questions without some answers. Now, its not make or break for me but I have made purchases in the past I wish I never made because of the lack of information. I'll paste my questions here, and hopefully I can join the excitement of waiting and getting and E5.

1. Is it be possible to run the E5 stretch with 600 boom/tt/etc with 623mm mains and 105mm tails?
2. Can we see the E6/E7 canopy next to a E5 canopy?
3. Is a 4035 the biggest size we can run with the 52mm frame width? What other options are possible?

Sorry for the noobish questions :(

Yes it can be stretched however I'm not sure if 620mm will fit it, I know 606  with 96mm tails will fit fine.

There are pictures with it by a E6/7 I will try to get them and post on here.

Most people are going with a HKlll 4025-1100kV and 6s, a few are looking at going 12s

I know the E6 is capable of 623/106 so I'm fairly certain the "E5s" will be also.  As for motors, nothing bigger than the 4035 series will fit between the frames but the Hacker Turnado would be another option.

+1 to what the guys said. ^^^

The KDE 600XF-530 for 12s or 600XF-1175 for 6s would be another couple options...

NovaCX12,

1. Is it be possible to run the E5 stretch with 600 boom/tt/etc with 623mm mains and 105mm tails?
A. Yes, but you will probably only need 96mm tail blades.

2. Can we see the E6/E7 canopy next to a E5 canopy?
Hopefully the pics posted were enough, I think there are a bunch posted on our facebook page.

3. Is a 4035 the biggest size we can run with the 52mm frame width? What other options are possible?
4035 motor is the biggest you can run without spacing the frame out. The 4035 series motors are very powerful and will have more than enough power in an extremely light E5 stretched.

Hope that helps!

Matt
