New N5C owner saying hi and a question please.

Hi Guys.
I just got my N5c and going through the bits before starting the build.

I noticed that some bits come pre build. Now with the Aligns I have owned before, any pre build items I always tear down, checked and rebuild with thread lock.
Is it the same with this kit? Or everything it's build with thread lock? Do I need to tear down and rebuild?

Welcome to the Synergy family!

I would pull them apart. As with a lot of kits, the parts are prebuilt but not lubed or loctited.

Be prepared to use a little heat to get the bearing out of the head.

I disassembled mine and, like Chris said, none of the screws had loctite.  The screws usually have oil on them, too, that should be cleaned off prior to adding the loctite.

The kit it's very nice and looks like going to be a fun build. The only think I am not happy with is the quality of the cano. Has few cracks and some paint imperfections. I have been in touch with the shop, so I see what he come up with.

As everyone has reinforced please check everything.
I missed the spur gear hub screws on my second E7.  Fortunately I do a once over every flight for the first few.  Caught these backing out on the second flight!

Welcome to Synergy! I agree with the above posts, take all items apart and clean any oil and add thread locker to each area necessary.

They are a little low on torq, but since the N5c has bell cranks they would probably work. If you are looking for a good servo that won't break the bank, these are great. Highly underrated but I have ran them on many 50 sized machines.

MKS DS1009 Metal Gear Digital Servo

Quite a bit more torq and rated for 6V which will make powering them easier. They aren't coreless but still, I have over 100 flights on a set of these with zero gear slop. Metal gear train to boot!
