Jesus Bolts????
« on: September 29, 2011, 12:11:24 PM »
Are the main shaft Jesus bolts that hold the Head/Auto hub/tail pulley…hardened, or are they just standard steel shoulder bolts? My N5c kit only came with one that was the proper length. The others are too short(the shoulder does not stick all the way thru). I have a couple of 3x35mm bolts that I can cut and make work. I just didn’t know if they were hardened or not…..The P/n’s in question are… (1) of a 100-325A  and   (2) of a 100-320A.

Thanks!!!

I think I answered this one on RR or via email.

Just for this forums information....

Yes all Synergy bolts are class 12.9 which is a hardened steel bolt.
You can use just about any bolt except for Stainless Steel.

Thanks,

Matt

Class 12.9 bolt have 970 mpa or 140700 psi Proof Load!

It's the more resistant bolt on the market!

Stainless steel 303,304 and 304l have 100000 to 150000 psi Proof Load!
