Sorry if this is a repeat question, but I just can't seem to find it
For those using a header tank....where/how did you mount it? pics would be A+

I don't think too many are running a header tank at all to be honest. I picked one up at IRCHA last year just because I feel more security with that head room but found no truly clean and secure way to mount it.

No header tank here. I do suggest using the fuel magnet pickup. http://www.experiencerc.com/store/fuel_magnet_omi01-p-2697.html

When I flew Nitro, I used to use the OS bubble-less cluck and a header tank. The holder for the header tank I bought from Quick UK (http://readyheli.com/H5510-Quick-UK-60CC-Header-Tank-Set--Silver_p_33242.html).

Good luck.

Yep I've got that same one. I was planning on running a fuel magnet anyway. What are average flight times with a ys56 engine? I know it really depends on flying style...but lets here it anyway

I have a friend who runs around 5 minutes and another who goes about 9 minutes, therefore yes dependent of your flying style.

One guy was only hovering got almost 10 minutes out of one tank and a header.

I've posted photos of my header tank here:

Working great so far, my Rossi just wasn't happy without it.

I put a header tank on mine today. It doesn't need it with the fuel magnet, but my friend is getting ready to take ownership of it and wanted a header tank. Results? Well... I no longer run out of fuel during my autos :)

With the YS 60SR I timed the flight at 8 min, 16 sec. That was piro flipping most of the flight with some asynchronous loops and continuous flips and such. No hovering. That is good gas mileage if you ask me!
