I didn't mean to offend. I just stated my normal "helicopter down in the dumps" cheer-up monolog.

You know when I first started using flybarless (everyone told me I was crazy!) I had a rash of unexplained crashes that my 2.4 radio manufacturer claimed was and in order my B.E.C then my ESC. saying I was low volting the receiver and it was resetting. After replacing those it happened again. I then sent in all my receivers and my 2.4 module and everything checked out 100%. Happened again so I was told to replace my motor, servos and then flybarless unit. I was so gullible that I sent my flybarless unit off to Germany just to be sure.......got it back with a 100% health check and it happened again!  It was the receiver! I found it when I took it apart. Till the end the claimed it was good but I never had another issue again. Cost me well over $500 in crash costs and postage.

I feel your pain..well felt it before!

I wasn't really offended.  My butt is just chapped from all this carnage and I'm grumpy, LOL.

My faith got restored a little bit today.  It poured rain most of the day.  About five o'clock there was a break in the rain and it was warm and calm out.  I took my N5c out and was able to fly one complete tank through it and it flew like a champ with the new clutch in it!  Hopefully the rain will clear up for the weekend so I can maybe get some more flying time in with it.  I haven't even been able to burn a full gallon through it yet.

And another small step towards heli happiness today.  :D

I burned six tanks of fuel in the N5c today and she's running and flying sweet!  I'm running 2150 rpm head speed and I'm getting 7-1/2 minutes of flight.  I finally finished burning my very first full gallon of nitro and started on gallon number two.  Okay, I'm smiling again now...  Good thing I have a short memory, lol.
