Kit came missing two button head M3x6
« on: July 11, 2013, 09:25:01 PM »
Working at building my E5 and found a frame spacer that was supposed to have m3x6 button head screws.  But came with M3x16 cap head screws with washers instead.  I had some m3x8 button heads in my pile of spares that work.  What gives is there some use that I have not seen in the manual for these m3x15 that I have yet to find and if so where are the missing m3x6.

The longer bolts an washers are for holding the boom supports on. The frame brace on the back above the rear skid mount is where the boom supports mount.

I didn't want to open a new thread on this but am looking for screws.  I am replacing the eSC mounting plate and got the parts in, but none of the screws I have will fit in the "spacers".  I cannot get the original screws that are phillips out of the original plate without stripping the screws.  What screw will fit?  The one thing I wish Synergy would start doing is sending screws with the parts when you have to replace them.  Or have a set of screws to buy.

Have you tried heating the screws a little.  That should loosen up the locktite.
I have yet to see any mfg send screws with a replacement carbon part.
If you need screws the part number is 103-256 (pack of 5)

They are an M2.5x6 if you have a hardware store, locally, that carries any metric hardware.

There weren't any screws that came with the spacers.  I bought some upgrade parts for the Forza (boom clamp, metal U and L servo mount, etc.) and they all came with screws.
Right now I have bigger problems with smoke from the esc.
