New N5C owner Question

Hey everyone glad to finally have my hands on a Synergy model! My question is concerning tail rotor. With the belt drive tail do the tail blades spin opposite of most other heli's? Mine are set to spin towards the fuselage instead of away is this correct?

Hello! Welcome to the Synergy Family!!

With the belted N5c the tail rotor should spin counter clockwise as with most other helis with the leading edge going up into the rotor wash.

The recently released TT upgrade reverses the tail to clockwise.

If you have a belt and the tail is going clockwise, you need to rotate the belt the other way.

Firstly, congrats on your first Synergy!

The tail should be turning in the opposite direction (Away from the fuselage). What you need to do to correct the rotational direction is to make sure that when you attach the tail belt to the gear that you have only one quarter turn to the left on the belt. Left when looking at the belt from the front of the tail boom and not the rear (Tail blade section).
