Grippy
« on: November 23, 2013, 05:20:56 PM »
I just installed the TT and lowered head upgrades on my N5C.  First off, hats off to Matt on the TT upgrade. It's really clever how he was able to make it all work and make it so easy to install.

Next, to Alan and anyone else that mentioned using a grippy when disassembling the head... Thanks!  Heliproz has them on sale dirt cheap so I bought one and what a slick tool!

By the way, it was a cold but calm and clear day so I went flying and the N5C flew great. Actually, it was flying so good that I completely missed my timer and ran out of fuel right in the middle of a loop.  Had my second very successful forced auto in two weeks and took it home in one piece. Woot!

Congrats Rodney!  The TT Kit is the best thing since sliced bread.  I am sure you noted it autos a bit better.
And congrats on another successful auto!

Cheers
Alan

Now that is funny considering the resources he has to make stuff.

I really like the TT, for sure. I think I need a new tail servo, though, because I had a wag before I upgraded and it's still there. I installed brand new tail blades, along with the whole new tail and everything is butter smooth so the servo is about the only thing I didn't change. Been chasing this problem a while.  Oh well.
