Received My N5C tt kit today :(
« on: November 26, 2013, 05:11:46 PM »
I received my kit from Experience Rc today and noticed that it was minimally packed for shipping. It was sent in a cardboard box no bigger than the kit box. There was no room for packing material to protect the kit. It came to me crumpled on the ends with a small deep dent in the top. I opened the box to find that the frames had scratches and the canopy has spider web cracks where the small deep dent was on the packing box. Some of the machined parts are indented where other metal parts would have contacted them too. It's not Synergy's fault at all, but if I pay $70 for shipping I expect my package to come well protected an intact. I'm really disappointed in Experience Rc and have no intention of ordering kits from them again. I'll build the kit as is, the wear would have happened over time anyway. Question... Where should my tail blade bolts be? I didn't receive any in the kit.

Thanks.

Sorry to hear the kit didnt travel well. I order from experience all the time and I have had no issues.. unfortunately sometimes we are at the mercy of the guy having a bad day at work in the shipping companies basement.

The tail blade bolts are in a baggie with the canopy grommets.  Should be in the box with the other machin parts.

sent from my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 2

I checked, I have the nuts, but no bolts. I've sent experience pictures of the packaging, canopy and frames and I guess I'll see if they offer any kind of resolution. I've had kits shipped to me before and this was the worst packing for shipping I've ever come across. Whatever, what's done is done, I have a kit to build  :)

Thanks.

Experience Rc got right back to me with options for resolution right away. They apologized and are making efforts to correct what happened. What happened was disappointing, but I'm happy to see great customer service in their trying to fix it. I've PM'd Matt about the tail blade bolts to see if he'll send me some also.
