E7 Belt tention

hi, i got my E7 on friday last week and is now finished but i noticed at the back of the boom in the tail case at the bottom of the belt is really close or is touching the bottom of the boom. is everyone elses like this?

Yes the belt does ride close to the boom, no problem. Make sure that the bottom spacer's flat spot faces upwards, and you will be good to go.

Hi,

With the boom set so thats its flush with the front boom clamp i set mine so that the space between the rearmost clamp that secures the vertical fin and the end of the boom is approx 3mm. I generally set it so that its tight and there is some resistance in the drive system and then i will slightly loosen until the system feels smooth and then tighten up the bolts to secure un place.

In the picture you can see the gap between the rearmost clamp and the end of the boom:

You should be able to push it about 1/4 of the way in, is this clear as an instruction? you know what I mean?
