If this has been posted before I apologize.
I was trying to get the sleeve lined up at the hole for the screw that secures the strut to the skid and thought I was gonna pull my hair out. So, I cut the head off a 3mm screw, then heated up an old piece of a nyrod I had lying around and inserted the screw into the nyrod, leaving the threads exposed. I then screw the coupler to the screw and insert it into the back of the skid. I am then able to line things up, when the strut screw is tightened up, I can unscrew the nyrod/screw tool and move to the next hole. Takes No time to assemble the Landing Gear Assembly.
I have built a lot of Helicopters and my Synergy is one of the nicest kits I have assembled.
