Bright Canopy Options
« on: January 28, 2014, 04:06:15 PM »
I recently built a Synergy E7SE.  I have been very impressed with the quality of the kit as well as how great it flies.  The canopy looks much better in person than it does on the websites, however, the colors are blue/white/green which are not the most distinctive colors in the air.  This is a 700 size bird so I am not very concerned about losing orientation while I am in the air.  I would prefer to have bright orange or red colors to really make it stick out in the sky.

Does anyone know if there are an plans for Synergy to expand its E7SE canopy selection?

Sick Canopies, Fusuno, and Canomod make aftermarket canopies - and will do custom designs also.  The Sick Canopies look amazing, but are pricy...  To be honest, the stock E7se has worked well for me in most conditions - and if anyone can lose orientation it would be me!

For aftermarket canopies I use Fusuno.  Here is my current SE canopy...

Rodney,
That is a very nice canopy!  I have been looking at it on their listing - but can't bring myself to buying!

I just checked out the Sick Canopies website, and it is definitely what I was looking for.  Price is alittle steep, so I wont upgrade the canopy right away.  I will probably wait till the summer time.  Anyways thanks for the pics and it is good to know all these options exist.

The colors on all of these canopies are quite a bit brighter, in person, too.  It's just about impossible to take a picture of one that does the colors justice.

Nice!  I like the paint scheme/bright colors.
