head bobble
« on: February 27, 2015, 06:56:07 PM »
I was having trouble with a head bobble on my new E5. I thought it was related to cyclic gain but changing the gain on my Spartan vx1e did not solve the problem. Today I tried the progressive dampening system from FBL rotors - 2 green and one white for my moderate flying style - and problem solved! It is now tied with my Logo 600 for my favorite heli!

+1 for the progressive dampening system. I've beat on my Helis pretty good regarding Blades Scrapes, some a bit more aggressive than others, and the dampening system has really held up nice. The ability to tune out the head to your flying style with little math involved is very nice.
